Realtor of The Month

October's Realtor of the Month
Brian Huegel
I am blessed to be in career that I love.  Real Estate fits my personality perfectly because I can be of service to someone.  As someone who owned a relocation company for over 25 years my passion is to assist others in areas that they maybe aren't well versed in themselves.
My biggest passion in this business is to assist "transitional adults" and their families/friends obtain the greatest return to the estate/trust or individual.  So often their homes are out of date, need repairs and sadly they sell to someone who comes in a flips the house and pockets a great return.  My take on it is this, I have a network of contractors and suppliers from the Flipping that we have done in the past, what would it look like if we assisted in bringing in these suppliers/contractors to make the updates and fixes and then be able to sell the house for a much more fair price and net a much better return to the Seller or Estate.
We have great success in doing so and it is a very rewarding business model.
My spare time is filled with my wife and friends.  I enjoy fishing, an occasional game of golf and competing in Triathlons.

I am a Realtor® with Realty Executives Cooper Spransy, and I've made Sun Prairie my home for the past 17 years. I graduated from UW Superior with a degree in education and furthered my education with two masters degrees one in Collaborative Educational Leadership and another as a Reading Specialist. I’ve also worked in education for 20 years, and now I bring my love for education to the real estate arena.

I grounded my business in the idea that "Knowledge is Power." This mindset drives me to bring as much to my clients so they better understand one of the biggest financial decision they will make. No stone is unturned, no question goes unanswered, and no phone call comes too late or too early. My clients become a part of my life even after the closing, as my passion is for understanding the needs of my clients and doing whatever it takes to make those dreams a reality.

I grew up in the small town of Spencer, Wisconsin and carry my small town values with me every day. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point to become a high school/middle school teacher and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in History and Broadfield Social Science to go.

The world of real estate was one that I never expected to get into, but my love for helping people made it an easy decision to jump in. Because of my teaching background I make it a priority to meet the needs of everybody that I work with, and I'm excited to work with you! I'm a very active guy, and when I'm not on a basketball court or a softball diamond, I'm rooting on the Brewers, Badgers, and Bucks!

I'm originally from a small town in central Illinois.  Besides Real Estate, my passions in life include Music and Food!  I play guitar and have had the ability to write and record two records and I continue to write music to this day.  I have recently gotten into BBQ and enjoy having family and friends over to enjoy some “Low and Slow” cooking!  My introduction to Wisconsin came from one of my High School teachers who would take a busload of kids up to Cascade Mountain every year to ski.  Wisconsin quickly became one of my favorite travel destinations.  After High School I attended Illinois State University where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Business and met my wife.  We started a family and I now have 2 girls who have become my “WHY” in life.  My family was then given the opportunity to relocate and we decided that Madison, WI is the place to be.  We had family close and have since relocated three households to this area.  Madison is an amazing city and is surrounded by some very well rated communities.  Whether someone wants city life or small town living, they can find a solution here.
Real Estate has always intrigued me.  Being able to be professionally involved in this process of home ownership has been a real blessing.  I've been in Real Estate for over 4 years and it continues to be the best decision I could have made.  I love to work with people!  My constant goal, whether it's working with someone buying a house or selling a house, is to make sure I'm providing the best service possible.

As a native of Dane County, I have lived here for the past 31 years. I have done a lot of travelling and seen a lot of places but I will always consider Wisconsin one of the best places in the world to live. I love the lush landscape, the many seasons, great institutions we have and most of all, I love the people around me.
Wisconsinites are the most friendly, hardworking and community-driven people around. That is why I love being a realtor. The face-to-face interactions, negotiations and relationship building is what got me into this business and is what continues to keep me engaged and driven.
When working with my clients, I always strive to provide the best service I can. From finding the right home to negotiating the right terms, I put my clients first and make the home buying or selling process as easy and stress-free as possible.
August's Realtor of the Month
I am a Real Estate Salesperson licensed in the State of Wisconsin and primarily focusing on Dane, Rock, and Green Counties. I enjoy finding homes which will best fit my clients needs and budget. I like to have fun while interacting with my clients, usually we have a lot of laughs but I work hard to get my clients through tough negotiations. I’ve given back over $20,000 working with Veterans, Police Officers, Firefighters, EMT’s, School District Employees and active military personal in just one year through the Homes for Heroes program. Being a Realtor has been a very rewarding career. Regardless of budget or sales price you’ll get top notch service with me.
July's Realtor of the Month

Sherry Mckee

As a California native, people love to ask me why I'm here. My response is the same: "There's no other place I’d rather raise my family." My husband was born and raised in the Madison area and we've called it our home since 2007.

After graduating with a degree in Economics, I began my career in the financial services industry. My experience helping homeowners analyze their budget, working directly with underwriters and finding creative solutions that met their needs laid the foundation for my love of real estate. Becoming a homeowner myself and eventually an owner of multiple investment properties has taught me the value of diligent evaluation — from making sure the budget fits to ensuring it cash flows to an overall feeling of confidence that the right decision has been made.

With a reputation for placing clients’ needs, goals and objectives at the forefront of every transaction, I will provide communication, negotiation and management skills in combination with in-depth knowledge of the greater Madison area. Known by my peers and clients for my attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to make certain even the most challenging transaction goes as smoothly as possible, I strive to ensure that every client I work with is not only satisfied, but excited about the process.

As a dedicated full-time realtor, I have a great deal of experience to offer my clients. Whether you are looking to buy or sell your first or fiftieth home, looking to build or an investment property, I’d love the opportunity to meet with you and show you how I can make the experience smooth and enjoyable.
Please let me know how I can help you

Our philosophy is simple: CLIENTS COME FIRST.  We believe that if you’re not left with an amazing experience, we haven’t done our job.  We measure success through the satisfaction of our clients and achieve this by providing the highest quality of service available.

I have been selling Real Estate since 2008 with Evans Properties LLC, (Cottage Grove) and prior to that I managed rental properties in the Dane county area for 12 years. I love showing people homes and helping them realize their dreams. When people tell me they can’t afford a house I ask them how do you know? I set people up with the right banks or Mortgage brokers that can help them realize their home ownership goals. Sometimes all you need is a foot in the door and I love being that person that holds the door from slamming on your foot. I specialize in homeowners under $300,000. Where there is a will there is a way.

Let my experience work for you! I’ve been a Madison Resident my entire life and I’m very passionate about helping others. Early on I knew I wanted to be around people and that’s where I spent most of my career, helping others. After finishing College with Degrees in Business Management & Real Estate, I chose to be a Full-time Realtor. It has allowed me raise my family and create more long lasting relationships in the same place I have loved calling home all these years! I love giving back to my community as well.
My Family has volunteered countless hours for Girl Scouts, Softball & Baseball Teams, Sending Care packages to the troops for the Holidays and many different fundraising efforts. But the home buying process is all about you and your needs. Sometimes people don’t know what they want or what they can have. It’s nerve-wracking and scary. I make sure you understand the entire process before I expect you to write an offer on a home so that makes it pressure free for you! This is one of the biggest decisions you will make and I’m here to make sure it’s the best one you should be making!
Considering the small upside cost and the large downside risk, it would be wise to work with a Professional Realtor when buying or selling a home. When you're ready to explore your needs, feel free to contact me and I would be happy to assist you.

Iris Loomans

I was born and raised in Switzerland, and quality and integrity are part of my being. In my twenties, I left home to see the world. I met my husband, a native of Madison, WI in St. Petersburg, Russia. We married in 1999, and we have three rambunctious boys. We moved back to Wisconsin in 2013. In addition to assisting my clients in real estate, I also work as a certified lay counselor. My cross-cultural experience and love for people are assets that make me a great Realtor.

“Thank you for remembering my name,” he responded with a surprised and touched look in his eye.
That small, seemingly insignificant moment came to be one that would define my career and my life. While working at a substance abuse rehabilitation facility, this man taught me the impact that even the simplest gesture can have on a person’s day, week or life. This could possibly be the most important lesson I’ve ever learned. People have become my passion.  Growing up in northern Arizona, I had many other lessons to learn. As a general contractor and a real estate investor, my father gave me hands-on experience in both industries. He taught me the importance of knowing the foundation and construction of a property before considering it for an investment.
From these early years real estate became ingrained in me. And once I decided to become a Realtor as a career, Stark Company Realtors quickly became my only choice. Not just because the company has been family-owned for more than 100 years, but also because people and relationships are valued above all else.
Finding your home – and your realtor – starts with a connection…with people. I’d be honored to connect you to your new home and make sure it matches your financial needs as a sound, well-constructed investment.
*Matt earned a BA in Business Management from Northern Arizona University, after which he moved to Denver (where he worked at the rehabilitation center). After eight years in Colorado, he and his wife, Laura, decided they wanted a new city to call home. The Vigils packed up their two boys and went on a 35-state journey looking at multiple cities and towns in each state. Matt and Laura fell in love with Madison and soon discovered it matched their financial needs and was an investment they could grow into… especially with their third son being born here.
